Who are we?
The CSL is a community organization that is dedicated to promoting health and well-being for women and non-binary people of sexual diversity. The CSL was founded in 1996 as the Groupe d’intervention en violence conjugale chez les lesbiennes (Lesbian Domestic Violence Intervention Group), and has over 25 years of expertise in this field. In 2008, responding to concerns over the lack of accessible services for lesbians+, the group adopted a broader mission and became the Centre de solidarité lesbienne.
Our Mission
The CSL’s role, which is rooted in feminist principles, is to improve the lives of lesbians+ by offering them services and assistance relating to domestic violence, well-being and health that are geared to their specific situation. The CSL is a place for dialogue and mutual support by and for lesbians.

How to get to the CSL:
Our address is 4126 Saint-Denis street, office 301, Montréal, H2W 2M5.
- By metro: Mont-Royal and Sherbooke are both approx 10 mins away
- By bus: Buses 29 and 30 stop at Saint-Denis and Rachel, less than a black away from the CSL
- Paratransit: Pick up and drop off is possible right in front of the building
Accessibility of the office:
- Mobility: Our offices are accessible step-free. We are on the third floor of a building with an elevator, but the doors are not automatic. Please call us at 514-526-2452 if you need help opening the doors.
- Sensory: Stim toys are available, as well as noise-reducing headphones. The over-head lighting is a warm orange colour, and there are 2 private rooms into which people can retreat if the main room gets too overstimulating.
- Bathrooms: The bathrooms are wheelchair accessible, though the doors are not automatic and it can be a bit of tight squeeze for three and four-wheeled motorized accessibility devices. The staff are available to help you access the bathroom. The bathrooms are gender-neutral, thought they were originally designed in a binary way. One bathroom has 3 stalls, and the other has 1 stall and 2 urinals. If you would feel more comfortable being alone in either bathroom, CSL staff members can act as your bathroom bouncer.
